Introduction to Japan-Expert class aims to provide students with a general overview and understanding of the major fields that Japan is internationally known for – from a global perspective. Students are expected to be able to convey their future goals as a Japan-expert.

The final class was held on 20th June. 8 students (enrolled in AY2017) gave a presentation in Japanese on future dreams and goals they have at this moment, when they have studied for about 1 year at University of Tsukuba.

At the end of the presentation, Sugimoto-sensei summed up, telling that “As a Japan-expert, it is important to understand yourself and your country first, and then think about Japan.”
