2023 Fall Graduation and Degree Conferral Ceremony
On Monday, September 25, the fall graduation ceremony and degree conferment ceremony for each course of the Japan-Expert (Bachelor) Program were held. 5 students graduated in total: 2 from the Agricultural Science Course, 1 from the Healthcare Course, and 2 from the Japanese Language Teacher Training Course.
Since two of the five had returned to their home countries for their next career paths, the three of them took a picture in front of the bronze statue of Jigoro Kano, which was also taken at the entrance ceremony.
This graduating class spent the first six months of their university life in face-to-face classes, the next two and a half years mostly online due to the coronavirus pandemic and the last year gradually returning to face-to-face classes.
Although some students may not have been able to enjoy the university life they had envisioned prior to enrollment, it is wonderful that they were able to pursue their goals, work hard at their studies, and develop their career paths.
All of us on the faculty and staff sincerely hope that they will continue to play an active role as bridges between their home countries and Japan in the future.
Congratulations on their graduation!
